2-Layer Tres Leches Cake

2-Layer Tres Leches Cake 220 g (1 ¾ cup) all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon baking powder ¾ teaspoon kosher salt ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon 6 large egg 250 g (1 ¼ cup) granulated sugar 60 mL (¼ cup) whole milk ½ teaspoon vanilla extract  nonstick cooking spray, for greasing 120 mL (½ cup) evaporated milk 120 mL (½ cup) coconut milk 395 g (14 oz) condensed milk, 1 can 480 mL (2 cups) heavy whipping cream 25 g (¼ cup) powdered sugar  assorted berries, for serving, optional Step 1  In a bowl whisk the flour, cinnamon, baking powder and salt. In a separate bowl add eggs and sugar and beat together until light and foamy and double the size. Step 2  Mix the mixture together using a spatula. In a cup or small bowl combine vanilla extract and milk mix it well and then add it to the batter and blend together. Step 3 Add a baking sheet in a round cake pans. Divide the batter between the pans. Add in the pans to the preheat oven to 350° F (180 °C). Bake until the cakes are golden brown about 25 minut

In a large, ovenproof skillet or frying pan, mix together the carrots, squash, and broccoli, and coat with the oil. Spread the veggies into 1 even layer. Place the chicken on top of the veggies. Season the bird on all sides and in the cavity with salt, pepper, and fresh thyme leaves. While seasoning the bird, make sure that enough seasoning has fallen onto the veggies below to give them good flavor. To truss the chicken, fold the wingtips underneath the breasts so that they fit snugly. Using a piece of butcher’s twine, tie the legs together so the bird holds a nice shape.   Ingredients for 6 servings CAKE 10 large eggs, seperated 1 ¼ cups sugar (250 g) , divided 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ¾ cup cake flour (90 g) ½ cup cocoa powder (60 g) , divided ½ teaspoon baking powder ½ teaspoon salt ICING 24 oz cream cheese (680 g) , room temperature ½ cup unsalted butter (115 g) , 1 stick, room temperature 4 cups powdered sugar (640 g) 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 15 chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed 5 chocolate sandwich cookies, halved Preparation In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg yolks with 1 cup (200 g) of sugar and the vanilla extract until pale and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Sift in the flour, half of the cocoa powder, baking powder and salt. Mix until just combined, and set aside Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. In a separate large mixing bowl, using a hand mixer, beat the egg whites until soft peaks form. Add the remaining sugar and beat until stiff peaks form. Ingredients  Dough: 115 g (½ cup) unsalted butter, melted 480 mL (2 cups) whole milk, warm to the touch 100 g (½ cup) granulated sugar 2 ¼ teaspoon active dry yeast 625 g (5 cups) flour, divided 1 teaspoon baking powder 2 teaspoons salt Filling: 170 g (¾ cup) butter, softened 165 g (¾ cup) light brown sugar 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon Frosting: 55 g (4 oz) cream cheese, softened 2 tablespoons butter, melted 2 tablespoons whole milk 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 120 g (1 cup) powdered sugar Step 1  Generously butter two disposable foil cake pan.  Step 2  In a bowl whisk milk, melted butter, and granulated sugar. The mixture should be warm. Sprinkles the yeast evenly and let over the warm mixture and let set for 1 minute.  Step 3 Add 4 cups (500g) of all purpose flour to the milk mixture and mix with a wooden spoon until mixed.  Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and let it rest in a warm place for 1  hour.  After 1 hour should have doubled in size.  Step 4 Remove the plastic wrap and add

Caramel Snicker Cookies Cups

Ingredients 9 fun sized snickers 255 g  chocolate chip cookie dough 110 g caramel syrup Step 1 Get a muffin pan and coat it with oil spray. Place the dough in to the muffin pan and press it to give the cup shape. Step 2 Bake for 12 minutes. When the cookies are removed from the oven place the snickers bar in each cookie cup. Sugar Swirl Cookies

Ingredients 8 tablespoons butter, soft 200 g sugar 1 egg ½ teaspoon vanilla extract ½ teaspoon salt 190 g flour ½ teaspoon food coloring, sprinkles, to taste Step 1 In a bowl mix butter and sugar until light and foamy. Step 2 Mix in egg, vanilla, salt and stir well. Next add in flour. Stir it well. Step 3 Divide the dough into 2 pieces and add food coloring in one of the pieces. Mix it well so the dough can be in the same color. Step 4 In the table add plastic wrap and use a rolling pin to roll the dough. Make the same for the both dough. After you are done place them one above the other. Step 5 Use the plastic wrap to roll the dough. In a baking pan or a flat dish fill it with sprinkles. Roll the dough until is completely coated. Step 6 Let it chill for some hours. Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Cut the dough into pieces and place then in the baking pan. Bake them for 10 minutes. Hope you enjoy them.

How to make the best Crumpets

I remember going to the shop very happy to buy my favorite sweets and eating them with my family. We all loved them, they are not to sweet but are very delicious. Since I move to Greece I tried to find them but it was hard. They don't sell the same sweet. The recipe is different and the taste is not the same, so I decided to ask my family members if they knew. Luckily some knew it and I decided to try it. It was very easy and didn't take much time. Hope you try it and succeed. Ingredients 500 gr butter 500 gr ice sugar 1 kg flour 1 g vanilla Step 1 In a bowl we mix sugar and melted butter and mix till a mixture is created. Step 2 In the bowl we put the flour and vanilla and mix well. Begin to work it by hand until the dough is made. Step 3 You can cut the dough any from you desire. In a pan put a paper sheet and put the Crumpets you made, cook it in a oven with 150°C. After is baked leave it for some hours and then powder it with ice sugar.

Recipe: 300g AP flour. 150g Bread flour. 50g Whole Wheat flour. 350g water. 100g sourdough starter. 10g salt. • Autolyse flour and water for 1 hour. • Add salt and starter, mix and let rest at room temp for 30 minutes. • Stretch and fold every 30 to 45 minutes for a total of 3.5hours. • Pre-shape the dough and bench rest for another 30-40 minutes. • Give the dough it’s final shape and put it into a floured banneton. Refrigerate overnight or 16 hours. • The next day, preheat oven (with cloche inside) to 550F and then let the cloche sit in the hot oven for an additional hour. • Lower the temp to 500F. Score the loaf, and bake covered at 500F for 28 minutes, then uncovered at 450F for 17 minutes or until you’ve got the color you like on the crust.
