Why you should read /watch Noragami

Noragami is one of my favorite anime /manga. Good art style and history.
It makes me wonder and think about Japanese Gods and others ancient Gods now that they don't have much people who pray to them.
I like ancient cultures and Gods and have read that if no one  pray to them they die... The same problem has the God in this anime.
He is a God of calamity and hates war so he wants to change. He is very cute and lovely but since he isn't doing what he is created to do is very weak and unknown. He is always in the same situation and nobody wants to help him, being alone in the world afraid of dying any moment.
Is worth watching or reading.
