Basic swiss roll cake recipe

Ingredients

5 egg yolk

1g salt

50g sugar

90 cake flour

2g baking powder

50g vegetable oil

50g milk 

5 egg white

70 sugar

Step 1

Mix in a bowl egg yolk, salt, sugar and mix until light and foamy and the volume will increase.

Step 2

In a bowl whip the egg whites and sugar (divide sugar 3 time) and beat until stiff peak forms.

Add the egg yolk that you made before and mix it well. In the bowl add the flour and baking powder and mix until the powder is gone.


Step 3
In the same bowl add the milk and oil and take some of the cake batter mix it well and add it to the remaining batter. Mix it well.

Step 4 
Spread the batter in a baking pan and bake in preheated at 170  for 30 minutes.
after is done immediately take it out and roll it with baking paper so it can cool in the rolled up shape and it wont crack when you add the filling. Leave it for some hours and when is ready open it and add the filling you desire, it will be easy to roll it again.
